As far as I'm aware this is standard that the winners of Japan's Emperor's Cup gets to enter the ACL. I guess Leagues have fewer teams over here in Asia and Japan's league has a high ranking.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05814891471986898380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394039474560280559.post-44127995788066544032012-03-17T05:03:00.873-07:002012-03-17T05:03:00.873-07:00Steve, I don't know a whole lot about Japanese...Steve, I don't know a whole lot about Japanese football, or Asian football in general. Can you explain to me how FC Tokyo are playing in the Asian Champions League this season if they were in J2 last season? Is it not just league placing that secures qualification, like in Europe? Or did they win the Champions League last year? Excuse my ignorance!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11198554628126657473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394039474560280559.post-36138257758585510412012-03-12T00:59:55.659-07:002012-03-12T00:59:55.659-07:00Hope so Steve, cheers, Steve!Hope so Steve, cheers, Steve!Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05814891471986898380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394039474560280559.post-61994464472085469082012-03-09T18:28:29.178-08:002012-03-09T18:28:29.178-08:00Welcome to the neighborhood from one Steve to anot...Welcome to the neighborhood from one Steve to another!
